Club Wyndham Perth, a boutique property in the heart of Perth, will undergo a refurbishment of its 21 apartments and common area improvements from later this month.
The new design of hotel apartments is inspired by Perth’s urban surrounds and emphasises sleekness and simplicity. All apartments and common spaces will be repainted, and new carpets and soft furnishings will be installed, while the bathrooms will undergo some minor works.
Club Wyndham Perth is part of Club Wyndham South Pacific – one of the region’s leading vacation clubs – and brings approximately 4,000 members and guests to Perth every year, who spend an estimated $14 million in the Perth economy.
“This is an exciting time for us at Club Wyndham Perth. One of the great advantages of the vacation club model is that we have a refurbishment calendar that we work to, which means this much-loved hotel receives ongoing investment in its upkeep,” said General Manager, Jerry Estrada.
“Our club refurbishments are designed to enhance the elevated and modern experience we provide for members and guests, and we look forward to seeing their reactions when we unveil it later this year,” he added.
The staged project is slated to begin later in April and conclude with a lobby refurbishment in late June or early July.
In the rooms, new patterned carpets will blend city accents of grey, white, mint and burgundy, while high quality vinyl will be utilised and in the living areas of larger apartments. Apartments will be decorated with new furniture and feature walls. The corridors will undergo refurbishment using a similar design, while the lobby will be refreshed with a simpler and more open set-up, inviting furniture, teal feature walls, hanging lighting and wooden features and new artworks.
The sustainability credentials of Club Wyndham South Pacific have been lauded by the hospitality industry and they are reflected in the refurbishment. Quality used furniture will to be donated to St Vincent’s De Paul in Perth.
Situated in the West Perth business district, Club Wyndham Perth is close to the heart of the city and its landmarks, like Kings Park and Swan River. Traversing the Western Australian capital is easy thanks to the resort’s push bikes, which can be hired on a complimentary basis.
The property was acquired for Club Wyndham South Pacific in 2007 and is one of the club’s 52 properties across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Hawaii (US) and Europe.
