Itinerary
DAY 1: 08 MAY 2025 Arrive Vancouver – Victoria
Welcome to Vancouver! On arrival at the airport, meet your Travel Director and transfer by ferry to Victoria Island (one group transfer provided). Enjoy an orientation tour that introduces you to the beautiful Inner Harbour, the ornate Parliament Buildings and Bastion Square. Continue to your hotel where the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. This evening, gather with your travelling companions for a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 2: 09 MAY 2025 Victoria Sightseeing
Start your day with breakfast at the world famous Butchart Gardens, a 55-acre preserve of gorgeous flowers. Learn about the history as well as current exhibits featuring flowers in their full summer bloom. Spend some time exploring the gardens on your own, strolling its winding pathways, spotting colourful butterflies and taking in their unique natural beauty. Back in Victoria, enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

DAY 3: 10 MAY 2025 Chemainus Sightseeing
After a relaxed start, venture out of the city to explore the historic side of British Columbia. In Chemainus, spend some free time to explore the outdoor gallery of murals. The art tourism program was established to save the community from inevitable economic collapse and has delighted millions of visitors that visit the town. Afterwards, enjoy time at leisure for lunch before returning to Victoria where the rest of the day is free.

DAY 5: 12 MAY 2025 Victoria – Vancouver
This morning return by ferry to the mainland and continue to Vancouver, Canada’s largest city and the jewel of British Columbia. Visit Granville Island and marvel at the selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, pastries, breads and gourmet fare at the Public Market. Shop for unique souvenirs like handmade paper or glass beads. Grab a snack from inside the market and sit on the dock, feed the seagulls or watch any number of street performers -from musicians to magicians.

DAY 6: 13 MAY 2025 Vancouver sightseeing
This morning, be swept away by sparkling Vancouver with its panoramic views of English Bay. Set out for Stanley Park to see its towering totem poles and explore historic Chinatown and Gastown, the city’s first downtown, named for “Gassy” Jack Deighton who opened the area’s first saloon. DAY 8: 15 MAY 2025 Vancouver – Rocky Mountaineer – Kamloops
Transfer to the train station and then all aboard the Rocky Mountaineer train for an unforgettable daylight rail journey through the diverse natural beauty on the way to
Alberta. Travel through the fertile fields of the Fraser River Valley and alongside the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains before entering Fraser Canyon. End your day’s journey in historic Kamloops, which means “the meeting of the waters.”

DAY 9: 16 MAY 2025 Kamloops – Rocky Mountaineer – Banff
Your journey continues eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and the glaciers and snowcapped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Your rail journey ends on arrival in the resort town of Banff.

DAY 10: 17 MAY 2025 Banff Sightseeing and Free Time
Today explore Banff, Bow Falls, the viewpoint of Surprise Corner along Tunnel Mountain Drive and the windshaped Hoodoos overlooking Bow Valley, before boarding the Banff Gondola. Ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain and enjoy a bird’s eye view of six mountain ranges. Later, learn about the history of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police during a “Meet a Mountie” Local Specialist presentation ( Subject to availability). The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 11: 18 MAY 2025 Lake Louise and Moraine Lake Excursion
Arrive on the shores of lovely Lake Louise where you learn about the history and geology of the area on a short interpretive walk. Later, continue to Moraine Lake situated in the beautiful Valley of the Ten Peaks. Enjoy a free afternoon before joining your hosts at the Boundry Ranch for a scenic Be My Guest dinner. DAY 12: 19 MAY 2025 Banff – Icefields Parkway – Athabasca Glacier -Jasper
Head north amidst a landscape of towering peaks, thundering waterfalls and ancient glaciers, keeping an eye out for elk, black bear and mountain goats. Get ready for a unique adventure at the Columbia Icefield when you board an Ice Explorer on the massive Athabasca Glacier. Continue to your hotel in the heart of Jasper National Park. After dinner at your hotel, learn about the wildlife that call these stunning mountains home during an interactive presentation by a Local Specialist.

DAY 13: 20 MAY 2025 Jasper Sightseeing and Free Time
Start the day with a cruise on Maligne Lake to see the world-famous Spirit Island. Continue with an interpretive walk at Maligne Canyon. Learn about the underground river system while following the canyon’s trail past beautiful waterfalls and spectacular rock formations. The rest of your day is at leisure.

DAY 14: 21 MAY 2025 Jasper – Mt Robson – Blue River – Sun Peaks
Head west over Yellowhead Pass and arrive at Mount Robson, the Rockies’ tallest peak at 12,989 feet (3,959 metres). Stop in Blue River, where you will enjoy an included safari tour (by boat or Jeep). Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Follow the Thompson River as you descend through the Columbia Mountains and arrive at your hotel in the thriving ski resort of Sun Peaks. Dine tonight at your hotel.

DAY 15: 22 MAY 2025 Sun Peaks – Lillooet – Whistler
Admire some of the most beautiful scenery in Canada as you travel along the remote Duffy Lake Road. Stop in Lillooet to visit Fort Berens Winery for a Highlight Lunch with wine tasting (subject to availability). Continue west as you cross the Coast Mountains and arrive in Whistler where you’ll check into your hotel.

DAY 16: 23 MAY 2025 Whistler Sightseeing and Free Time Step into a fascinating world where ancient ways meet modern life at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. Later, enjoy a ride on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. Joining Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains, this world record breaking engineering marvel is the highest and longest lift of its kind in the world. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. This evening, gather to toast a wonderful holiday with a Farewell Dinner with drinks at a local restaurant.
